The newly renovated space was uncomfortable due to the large echo inside. The speech was unintelligible, one tended to shout over oneself, the music was loud, unspecific, the instruments merged into one monotonous noise.
Implementation of acoustic treatment
We completed the 18.8 m x 8.1 m x 3.26 m space with 10 cm deep Silentmax3D-Line acoustic slats with a total acoustically absorbing surface of 12 m x 4.88 m. The acoustic slats fit into the interior design and significantly improved the acoustics of the space.
Reverberation (echo) has been reduced from 1.59s to 0.89s at 1kHz, which is almost halved!
