Silentmax® acoustic panels are made of fine PET fibres. They are anti-static against dust and virtually maintenance-free. They can be cleaned with a dry or wet vacuum cleaner. They are lightweight, breathable, vapour permeable, chemical resistant. They are fixed to the wall using corner strips, Velcro, gluing or anchoring with spacing screws. They are fixed to the ceiling by gluing or by means of suspension cables.
Basic characteristics
Dimensions: 2440 mm x 1220 mm, thickness 12mm
Weight: 6,9 Kg / panel ( 2,3 Kg / m2)
Dimensions can be easily adjusted with a folding knife.
Sound absorption parameters
They are characterised by excellent acoustic absorption over a very wide range of frequencies. The absorption coefficient NRC=0.9 in the frequency range of the spoken word 500 Hz to 5 kHz. The NRC depends on the location of the panels in the space and their configuration.

Detail
Silentmax® acoustic panels are made from recycled PET fibers with a thickness of 18 to 22 µm. The fibers are pressed under a strictly defined temperature and pressure so that the fibers melt and join at the point of their mutual contact. The internal structure and precisely defined density (the ratio of fibers, their gaps, the free space between them) predetermine the property of extreme acoustic absorption.
We can print Silentmax® acoustic panels with any motif according to the customer’s wishes. A company logo, photo or motif on the acoustic panel improves the acoustics and at the same time functions as an aesthetic accessory. The print does not degrade the acoustic properties. The color has a very high viscosity, thanks to which the individual color droplets surround the 20um thick fiber. The structure of the fibers is thus still active even with the print.
Silentmax3D
Modern 3D acoustic panels have almost 2.4 times the active area of a single panel. To optimize shipping costs, we ship these as a simple building kit. Read more about Silentmax3D acoustic panels here.
